Italy – This is the only project in Italy that aims to offer young lighting designers a training opportunity and help them start up their professional activity. It is the brainchild of Clay Paky, a leading lighting industry company, and the international festival Tones on the Stones.
The project provides a particularly spectacular setting to tackle: the Tones on the Stones festival features exclusive musical, theatrical and dance numbers set in the marble and granite quarries on the Piedmontese shores of Lake Maggiore and the Ossola valleys.
The young contestants will be able to investigate the various aspects of lighting design for spectacular events in majestic enchanting stone theatres and try out their skills through a live experience.
