Event production services provider, Ingram AV is one of the first UK rental companies to stock Claypaky’s Mini-B LED beam light – supplied by distributor, A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd (AC-ET).
Based in the North East of England, Ingram AV offers equipment hire and full technical event production services for live, corporate and architectural events.
Ingram AV has recently made a significant investment in cutting-edge equipment for its rapidly expanding new lighting department, which joins an extensive audio-visual catalogue.
Following increasing requests from customers for a small, bright wash fixture, Ingram AV’s Reed Ingram Weir contacted AC-ET’s Northern Sales office. Lighting Sales Manager, Ben Steppenbeck and Benjamin Taylor in the External Sales team visited Reed to provide a demo of the Claypaky Mini B.
Reed commented: “I was really impressed by its speed and brightness, which are the best I have seen for a beam light of this size and weight. It’s a versatile solution for us as its size and output means we can use it for almost any size stage, studio, venue or event.
He added: “Being from Claypaky as well, which is an established brand known for its high product quality and reliability, was another important factor in my decision.”
Reed invested in 16 Mini-B fixtures for use on a variety of upcoming concerts and various live events taking place in the coming months.
He remarked: “I will definitely be considering purchasing more Mini-Bs if it’s as popular as I expect it to be with our clients!”
Based on Claypaky’s B-Eye, the Mini-B offers the same core functionality in an extremely compact and lightweight unit, with very high-speed Pan and Tilt movements and a wide 4-55 degree zoom range.
In addition to purchasing the Claypaky fixtures, Reed has recently purchased SIXTY82 truss and LSC Gen VI dimmer/switch racks from AC-ET as well, along with a number of other popular lighting brands.
