New moving body models
At this year’s Plasa, Clay Paky presented its new moving body projectors, including the “SV” (Silent Version) models, designed for environments where silence is crucial, and the “Golden” models, which ensure high performance at low cost.
-Stage Profile 1200 SV combines the quality of a professional beam shaper with the versatility of a moving body projector.
-Stage Zoom 1200 SV and Stage Color 1200 SV are the silent versions of the top Stage Line models.
-The effects projector Golden Spot 1200 and the washlight Golden Color 1200 are very powerful (1200W) yet economical, and ideal for touring, theatres, TV and discotheques.
-Color Cyc is an accessory for Stage Color models, which guarantees total uniformity of colour with a beam angle of up to 80°.
“Plasa Award for Design Excellence” for Clay Paky’s CP Color
The range of new CP Color professional colour changers received the “Award for Design Excellence” at this London show.
As you can see from Plasa’s official announcement, “the judges appreciated the versatility and practicality of these models”. Enrico Caironi, commercial director of Clay Paky, adds: “The CP Color models can create countless colours and provide a wide range of solutions for all environments and weather conditions.”
Clay Paky and Pulsar Stand
Clay Paky and Pulsar shared a stand with large exhibition and demonstration areas for the new products as well as for the traditional moving mirror projectors, the Display Line and the Pulsar control desks. A very popular area was also set aside for special guests, including the legendary Ministry of Sound Bar.
Clay Paky Press Event
A press event was held on Sunday evening for a number of journalists from international specialist magazines. Enrico Caironi illustrated all the features of Clay Paky’s new products, drawing attention to the latest trends.
Clay Paky and Osram
The new Clay Paky moving body models use an Osram HMI 1200 W/S lamp. The two companies have always worked in close collaboration, thanks to the high standards and reliability of Osram lamps, which are ideal for Clay Paky’s professional projectors.
The press event was also presented with the new HTI 300 W/DEL (=Double-Ended-Longlife) lamp. It lasts for an average of 3,000 hours and has been designed and developed for the Display Line, Stage Color 300, Stage Light 300, Mini Scan HPE.
“Welcome to Plasa” with Clay Paky
Clay Paky presented the main theme of the show: “Welcome to the New Products”, accompanying visitors inside the pavilions. The entrance also displayed 8 Clay Paky V.I.P. models which projected logos and information in the most crowded areas and inside the “Plasa Office Organization”.
Party at Limelight
Limelight, the famous nightclub in the centre of London, hosted the party organized by Clay Paky and Pulsar, which invited journalists, distributors and collaborators from both companies. This club is fitted out with a large Clay Paky lighting system with moving body and mirror projectors, which have been carefully chosen by the manager Mick Parker to enhance the magnificent interior to the full.
Clay Paky at the “DI club of the year Awards”
Another central London nightclub, Equinox, hosted the DI Club of the year Awards, organized by the magazine Disco International, Clay Paky and Pulsar. It drew many people from the lighting and show business, as well as just curious onlookers. The awards ceremony and music and dance shows were illuminated by Stage Zoom 1200 (for front and lateral beams) and Stage Color 300 (positioned on trusses above and on the stage)
